Professional pet sitters, such as myself and my Team with Loving Touch Pet Sitting, can keep your pets happy and healthy while you're at work or on vacation. By allowing someone to care for your pet in your own home, you avoid the stresses of traveling with an animal or keeping him or her in a boarding kennel. Loving Touch Pet Sitting, also provides other services such as mail pickup and house sitting for even greater peace of mind while you travel.
We as pet lovers, as well as you, always interview prospective pet sitters before turning over the care of our pets and we expect the same from our clients. We also interview you and your pet to make sure everyone will be happy with the service and love we will provide. We would also like the opportunity to spend time with your pets to see how we get along. Here are some questions to ask when choosing a pet sitter:
• Do they have commercial liability insurance in case of accidents? Are they bonded? Request written proof.
• How were they trained? What are their qualificatons?
• Do they have an associated veterinarian in case of emergencies?
• Do they have someone they can rely on to care for your pet in the event they have their own emergency?
• Is there a written contract covering the services provided and any fees?
A professional pet sitter should care about your pet including, his or her likes and dislikes, any medical conditions that require special treatment and the routines you follow in their care. We provide contracts and a questionnaire for you to fill out prior to us taking care of your pets. We have references, we are licensed, bonded, insured and fully accredited and registered with Pet Sitters International.
To make sure you'll be happy and comfortable, we "myself and my team" from Loving Touch Pet Sitting, suggest that you may want to start by requesting our services for a short trip. It's better to begin with a weekend away so you can address any issues that may arise and get a feel for how we run our service and that this will work out for you and your pet. We only want you to think about your trip while you are gone, not worrying about your babies at home.
